public beachPUBLIC BEACH is easily accessible to everyone involved in the event including Athletes, Volunteers, Spectators, Sponsors, the Media, and Emergency Services.

The Start and Finish areas afford one of the more spectacular views any Triathlon could ask for!

transitionTRANSITION

The Transition Area has entry and exit points that are fair to all regarding time spent in the area on foot with and without a bike in tow.  There is a ONE-Directional flow system that prevents cross-over and potential collisions.

bikeSWIM

The Swim takes place in the crystal clear calm waters off Seven Mile Beach.  Triathletes who normally compete in more temperate conditions will find “no wetsuits” particularly appealing.

BIKEbike

The Bike Course offers a smooth and fast ride.  The entire course is flat, and goes through several junctions and roundabouts.  AND … we drive on the LEFT!

runRUN

The Run Course is flat, safely marshaled, and suitable for the distances.  Athletes are provided with Aid Stations throughout which offer water, Gatorade, and cold wet sponges.

The Royal Cayman Islands Police and its auxiliary unit play an active role in the planning process regarding course routing and traffic flow.  They supply a sufficient number of vehicles, motorbikes, and manpower to help ensure the safety of participants and members of the general public.
