EVENT TIMING AND RESULTS
Event will be overseen by a Professional Timing Team and Preliminary results will be available during race. Complete Official results will be posted on www.turtletricayman.com as soon as practicable.
BIKE NEEDS
Uncle Bills – 243 Eastern Avenue (345)949-7601, will assist with any last minute bike needs. Visiting participants are encouraged to sort out all major repairs and overhauls at home as resources on island will be limited. CO2 cartridges and tubes will definitely be in stock.

MASSAGE
Individual Appointments may be arranged by contacting Spa to Go @ spa2go@candw.ky or by calling (345) 949-1525. Mobile services are available. Athlete special – Swedish Massage USD$100 / hour ; Deep Tissue USD$ 125 / hour. ½ hour sessions available www.spatogo.ky
Post-race Massage will be available near the Finish Line area. This is a volunteer service and donations will be donated to one or more of the Official Event Charities.
FACILITIES NEAR TRANSITION (PUBLIC BEACH)
Drinking water / bottle fills, Toilets, Change rooms, and Outdoor showers
MEDICAL
Med tent located near the Finish Line area.
Please stay well hydrated, use sunscreen, and where a shirt and hat.
BODY MARKING
ALL participants, individuals and relay team members, must be body marked with their race number. Body marking will commence at 5:30 am near the SOUTH entrance to Transition (Public Beach Parking Lot).
Please have your bike frame number affixed before entering.
NOTE: avoid the application of sunscreen over number as it may remove it!
BIKE CHECK
It is the responsibility of each athlete to ensure his/her bike is in safe and proper working order. Please ensure your brakes are functioning properly, removable parts have been tightened, and handlebar ends are plugged.
RUN BIB NUMBERS
Please ensure you are wearing the number assigned to you. You are only required to wear the number on the run portion of the race, and it must be attached / positioned on the front of your body. Race Officials must be able to see your number!
BIKE FRAME NUMBERS
Please ensure the bike number in your packet is correct. Your frame number must be affixed to the bike so it is visible from both sides. Ensure number is on bike prior to entering the Transition Area.
SWIM CAPS
The swim cap in your race packet MUST be worn. Please DO NOT exchange caps with another participant.
TRANSITION SECURITY
Access to the transition area will be limited to race officials and competitors only.
Removal of gear may commence once all cyclists have returned from the bike course and started the run.
BIKE RACKS
Racks will be categorized NOT numbered. Please respect your neighbours space and avoid touching or moving anything that is not yours. For rack spacing efficiency the bike (s) on either side of you should be facing the opposite direction. Please keep gear to a minimum. Notify a race official if you need assistance. Foot rinse tubs will be in place at Transition entrance.
TEAM TRANSITIONS
Team members must tag one another at bike rack.
Runners, please ensure your bib number is visible as you exit transition and at the finish.
FOOT BATHS
Located near the transition / swim chute area to avoid the use of individual buckets.
HELMETS
Ensure your helmet is on and fastened at all times when on bike.
DROPPING OUT OF THE RACE
For SAFETY and scoring purposes - please notify a race official if you pull out of the race early.
PARKING
- Courtyard Marriott and northbound on West Bay Road.
- Lot adjacent to the Courtyard Marriott.
- Trafalgar Square (where Neptune’s Restaurant is located)
General NO PARKING Sections of the roadside on West Bay Rd will be marked accordingly. No parking areas extend 200 meters south and north of Public Beach. Public Beach will be shut off to ALL vehicular traffic except Official Event Tags.
TRAFFIC ISSUES
General through traffic will be detoured off West Bay Road at the Safehaven and Raleigh Quay junctions (onto new by-pass). Foot access only may be possible into Public Beach at the far north edge of the PB parking lot and points further along the beach heading north.
Event participants must understand that due to limited traffic detour options, most roads will not be closed on the course. It is therefore the responsibility of everyone to be careful on the road and be aware of road activity around them. Police marshals will be present on course. Organizers will continue to monitor the road situation up to race day and free up road space where possible.
